University Talent Week (Barcelona): open call - updated conditions for applications

Dear Students,

FAMU was invited to this year’s pitching forum, The Audiovisual Talent Week, which focuses on tertiary audiovisual art school students, is organised by The Catalan Audiovisual Cluster and will take place in Barcelona from 14 to 18 November 2022. The students who participate in the Talent Week can attend pitching sessions, conferences and meetings with audiovisual art producers to whom they can present their projects they are working on (not completed). The projects should be presented in English.

Event attendees will include several Catalan universities as well as schools from other areas of Spain and other European countries.

The invitation covers participation in pitching sessions and other programmes, a round trip to Barcelona for two students with a project to present, and accommodation in a hotel for two to three nights. The Faculty will cover the other costs of the stay.

If you are interested, send applications with projects to andrea.petrovicova@famu.cz by June 13, 2022 *

A jury of audiovisual art experts on the part of the organisers will select a maximum of one project from our school to take part in the audiovisual pitching and the event as a whole. FAMU may nominate three to five projects. The projects will be selected in cooperation with your Department.

Yours sincerely,
