FAMU graduates win the Czech Film Critics’ Awards

The Czech Film Critics’ Awards were unveiled at the Archa Theatre on Saturday 2 February 2019. The Best Film Award was bestowed on Jan Palach by Robert Sedláček (a graduate of the Department of Documentary Film); the Best Director award went to Olmo Omerzu (a graduate of the Department of Direction) for Všechno bude (Winter Flies); Tomáš Pavlíček (Department of Direction) and Lucie Bokšteflová (a graduate of the Department of Screenwriting and Dramaturgy) won the Best Screenplay Award for Chata na prodej (Bear with Us); Nagano Tapes by Ondřej Hudeček (Department of Cinematography) won the Bey ond Cine ma category.
