FAMU for Children
The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) presents “FAMU for Children”, a medley of the best and award-winning films for children made by our students over the course of the last ten years. The medley includes films made by authors who have become famous in the meantime, including Kateřina Karhánková, Jakub Kouřil and Alexandra Májová (née Hetmerová), as well as filmmakers who are currently FAMU students or who have finished their studies recently, including Diana Cam Van Nguyen, Martin Pošta and Martin Smatana. Our films for children have been featured in hundreds of festivals all around the globe, their authors cherish prized trophies at home, and we wish to present the films in such a comprehensive form to Czech child viewers using our Vimeo channel.
