The candidates for the position of the Rector of AMU for the 2021–2025

To the Members of the Academic Community,

I would like to inform you that, on 9 October 2020, I received the following nominations of the candidates for the position of the Rector of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (“AMU”) for the 2021–2025 term of office:

Assoc. Prof. Daniela Jobertová, Ph.D.    

• nominated by the Academic Senate of DAMU

Prof. Vlastimil Mareš            

• nominated by the Academic Senate of HAMU
• nominated by the Artistic Council of HAMU

PhDr. Ingeborg Radok Žádná         

• nominated by the Academic Senate of DAMU
• nominated by the Collegium of the Dean of FAMU
• nominated by more than one-third of all members of the Academic Senate of AMU
• nominated by 25% of HAMU students and 12.5% of AMU students
• nomination supported by the Academic Senate of FAMU

Assoc. Prof. Filip Suchomel, Ph.D.    

• nominated by the Academic Senate of FAMU

The received nominations are currently being verified for compliance with formal and legal requirements. In accordance with the resolution of the Academic Senate of AMU dated 29 June 2020, I would like to ask the nominees mentioned above to:

• submit their written consent with their candidateship and publish their concept documents and curricula at www.amu.cz;
• submit the concept documents describing their planned activities not exceeding 10 pages, in four copies as well as in electronic form;
• submit their curricula not exceeding one page, in four copies as well as in electronic form;
• submit certified copies of a copy of the original certificate under Section 9(1) of Act No. 451/1991 and a solemn declaration under Section 4(3) of Act No. 451/1991 (see the attachment).

Please send these documents in written form as a letter, attention Chair of the Academic Senate of AMU, to Malostranské náměstí 259/12, 118 00 Praha 1, by 26 October 2020.
