Three FAMU films shortlisted for 2021 GSA BAFTA Student Awards

Fantastic news and a record too! The prestigious British Academy Film Award, BAFTA just published this year's shortlist for the BAFTA Student Film Awards. And among the 60 films that can be awarded this award, there are three FAMU films for the first time ever: for The BAFTA Student Film Award for Animation will compete Love Is Just a Death Away / Jsme si o smrt blíž by Bára Anna Stejskalová and Rudé boty / Red Shoes by Anna Podskalská, and for The BAFTA Student Film Award for Documentary will compete the film ′′Vevnitř′′ by Viktorie Štepánová. All students are from FAMU Animation Department.

We are proud to have competed with 658 student films from a total of 34 countries around the world. The finalists will be announced on June 9th - keep your fingers crossed! And a huge congratulations to our students!
