FAMUTEORIE OPENCALL

Dear Students, Colleagues, Graduates,

Are you working, in addition to your films, on art research projects, writing an interesting bachelor’s, master’s or dissertation thesis, or have you recently graduated and wish to share your research with colleagues in the FAMU academic community and experts?

We cordially invite you to take part in the first edition of the FAMUTEORIE conference, which aims to map students’ art research activities at FAMU. Take the opportunity to present your research projects undertaken as part of graduation theses, Student Grant Competition projects, doctoral studies, and/or other research activity within FAMU.

You can send your annotations of 900 to 1,800 characters (CZ/EN) to famuteorie@famu.cz by 31 August 2021. An expert panel will select the papers, and you will be informed if your paper is selected by 30 September 2021. Selected papers may be presented in both Czech and English languages with duration of 15 to 20 minutes.

We are organising the conference as FAMU’s doctoral students, but our goal is to create a shared platform for current students and recent graduates across all programmes who are involved in research in various forms. The conference will be held at the FAMU screening room on 5 November 2021, or online should the epidemic situation deteriorate.
