Competition for the Student Concept of FAMUFEST 2022

The Dean and the Head of the Department of Production of FAMU are making a call for the FAMUFEST concept for 2022 as part of an internal competition.

 

The competition is open to all FAMU students subject to the requirement that the event must be co-organised with the second-year students of the Department of Production (in the academic year 2020/2021). FAMUFEST 2022 must take place in the spring of 2022. The choice of the venue is up to the organising team with the winning concept.

Submit your draft concepts for FAMUFEST 2022 in accordance with the FAMUFEST Festival Statutes (see Article 2.7) along with a summary of the concept in the English language to a maximum extent of 1 standard page to the Dean’s secretary, Mrs Kristýna Šperková, no later than 30 July 2021, 12:00 noon. The documents must be submitted in electronic form (e-mail them to kristyna.sperkova@famu.cz).

All project applicants will be heard by the FAMUFEST Committee on 5 August 2021. The Committee will include the Dean of FAMU Andrea Slováková, Science and Research Methodologist Silvie Demartini, a member of AS FAMU, Head of the Department of Production Karla Stojáková, and teachers Karel Och and Kryštof Mucha who will teach the FAMUFEST subject at the Department of Production during the winter semester and will guide the second-year students of the Department of Production and any other team members from other Departments towards the successful completion of the festival. The concepts that are compliant with the FAMUFEST Statutes and the corresponding requirements for successful organisation, as well as with Czech legislation and FAMU’s internal policies in legal and economic terms, will be nominated by the FAMUFEST Committee for a competition across the school in the form of an online vote, in which each member of the FAMU academic community may participate, to be held from 6 to 13 August 2021. At the final stage, the concept with the highest number of votes will be nominated winner and the winning team will start working on grant applications for obtaining financial support for the upcoming edition immediately after the announcement of the results.
