Workshop: sexual minorities and transgender

Dear students, dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you about the possibility to register for the workshop, which was prepared for you by the FAMU Ombudswoman Klára Laurenčíková in cooperation with the organization Transparent focusing on the support and enforcement of the rights of transgender people in the Czech Republic.

The topic of this interactive workshop will be transgender identities and the integration of trans and non-binary people into the school community. Attention will be paid to basic terminology, the process of transition, coming out at school and recommendations for communication with trans and non-binary people.

The workshop will take place on November 2 from 15:45 to 18:00 in classroom U1, and it is intended for students, teachers and other FAMU employees.

The workshop will be consecutively translated into English by our teacher and a professional translator Mgr. Petra Dominková Ph.D.
