Winners of the 25th Ji.hlava IDFF have been announced: the best Czech documentary is 'Brotherhood' by Francesco Montagner

We are immensely happy to report that films made by our students have won awards at the 25th Ji.hlava IDFF. This year, a lot of them took part in the festival – more than twenty! We cordially congratulate Francesco Montagner whose Brotherhood won the Best Czech Documentary and the Best Cinematography awards; and also Eliška Cílková whose film Beautiful Solution won the Fascination: Exprmntl.cz section award (the jury in this section was director Daria Kashcheeva and her husband, film editor Alexader Kashcheev). The Best Sound Design award went to Viera Marinová for Love, Dad by Diana Cam Van Nguyen. Jana Vlčková won the Best Editing award for Out in Force directed by Martin Mareček, the guarantor of the Documentary Film department at FAMU and the head of a workshop.
