Resolution of the Dean’s Collegium on Vaccination and Testing in Connection with COVID-19

The Collegium of the Dean of FAMU invites all the students, teachers and technical employees of FAMU and FAMU Studio to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and undergo testing for the disease. In addition to consistently observing anti-epidemic measures – wearing respiratory protection, sanitising hands, social distancing, and isolating from others if you do not feel well – vaccination provides efficient protection from severe cases of the disease. A negative test result is the only truly reliable evidence of not being infectious. Please keep in mind that even if you are vaccinated, you can still transmit the disease (even if you do not show any symptoms).

Get vaccinated, get tested, wear respiratory protection, wash your hands thoroughly, and reduce your social contacts. You do this for yourselves and for those close to you as well as to help maintain instruction at FAMU in the presence mode to the maximum possible extent.
