Hana Janečková was awarded the prestigious Fulbright-Masaryk Scholarship

Hana Janečková, a CAS (Center for Audiovisual Studies) lecturer, was awarded the prestigious Fulbright-Masaryk Scholarship at Rutgers University U.S and the Elizabeth Sackler Center for Women's Art Brooklyn Museum New York, where she researches politics of the body, especially health, in contemporary American moving image and media art. Hana Janečková’s research focuses on the way contemporary artistic and moving image projects deal with histories of health crisis and alternative approaches to health - such as radical psychiatry, contagion, peer-to-peer community care or issues of reproductive justice. She also researches how New York based art institutions and museums have approached this subject in their recent programming. You can find more in Hana Janečková’s recent publication Multilogues on the Now: On Glands, Membranes and Cavities.
