Adéla Komrzý and Diana Cam Van Nguyen were awarded the Czech Lion

On March 5, The Czech Lion Awards were presented. Adéla Komrzý won the Czech Lion for Best Documentary for her graduate feature-length documentary Intensive Life Unit about palliative care. The graduate animated autobiographical short film Love, Dad by Diana Cam Van Nguyen won the Czech Lion for Best Short Film and the Magnesia Award for Best Student Film. Congratulations to both.

The most prominent element of the gala evening in Prague's Rudolfinum was, indeed, the support for Ukraine and the condemnation of Russian war aggression. The celebratory part of the evening did not take place, the saved costs together with the collected 5.6 million CZK were sent to help Ukraine.

Diana Cam Van Nguyen donated the entire amount of money associated with the Magnesia Award to the People in Need account to support the people of Ukraine.
