Anifilm Becomes An Oscar-Qualifying Festival

On 30th April, the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences put ANIFILM on its list of selected prestigious festivals. The Best Short Films from these festivals will be shortlisted for the Academy Awards and will be submitted to the Academy for consideration. In this category, ANIFILM is the only Czech festival with this privilege. Big congratulations to the whole Anifilm team for this huge work, we are glad that our films are at this prestigious festival again this year.

The festival takes place from 10 to 15 May 2022 in Liberec.
