Martin Blažíček is a new head of the Center for Audiovisual Studies

A new Head of FAMU’s Centre for Audiovisual Studies has been appointed. Martin Blažíček is a FAMU graduate in Editing, and he obtained his doctoral degree at our school as well. He focuses on moving pictures and performance. He uses a wide range of media in his work, including film, video and creative programming. His research projects focus primarily on Czechoslovak underground film of the 1980s, videoart and experimental film. Martin Blažíček has published articles in ILUMINACE, Kino ikon, A2 kulturní čtrnáctideník, Art Antiques, etc.
