Cannesfilms Talent Unlimited

Applications for the next edition of Cannesfilms Talent Unlimited – the scriptwriting residence run by Canal+ Group in collaboration with the City of Cannes, the Université de Côte d’Azur, the Cannes IFF, Vivendi and The Black List – will be open in September and October.

For this year’s edition, six authors were selected out of a total of some 350 projects from around the globe to develop their first full-length scripts over the course of the six-month programme. The development workshop includes a three-week residence in Cannes during the film festival period. This year’s edition takes place under the auspices of Tarik Saleh who won the Golden Palm for the Best Script to Boy From Heaven.

Graduate from the Department of Directing Jakub Jirásek took part this year with his project Martha based on a pitch by Josef Kokta from the Department of Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy.
