Assoc. Prof. Martin Stecker re-appointed the Head of the Department of Photography

The selection process for the Head of the Department of Photography is finished. The previous Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Martin Stecker has been re-appointed for the position.

Assoc. Prof. Martin Stecker graduated in Artistic Photography with Professor Ján Šmok in 1981. Following his graduation, he started working as an external teacher, and became an in-house teacher and the head of a studio at the Department in 1999. He habilitated in 2015 and went on to work as the Head of the Studio of Classic Photography. He has held the position of the Head of the Department of Photography since 2019. Mr Stecker has been a member of the Association of Professional Photographers ever since its foundation in 1990.

His current activities:

The Benedictines and Central Europe, Petr Sommer, Pavlína Mašková, Dušan Foltýn (eds.) and 30 other co-authors. Photographic collaboration on the book – the cover and more than 50 photographs; released by the Centre for Medieval Studies, Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and Nakladatelství Lidové noviny in December 2021, ISBN 978-80-7422-462-1
