'My Sunny Maad' by Michaela Pavlátová has won the prestigious César Award for Best Animated Feature Film

Czech director and the Head of Department of Animated Film at FAMU Michaela Pavlátová's co-production My Sunny Maad has won the prestigious César Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The Cesar awards granted by the French Film Academy were announced on Friday night at a gala ceremony in Paris. My Sunny Maad is about a Czech woman who falls in love with an Afghan man and has no idea about the life that awaits her in post-Taliban Afghanistan.
