Academia Film Olomouc: Honorable mention from the jury of the Czech-Slovak Competition for HUMANS by Kateř Tureček

The euphoric film Humans (Lidi), providing a sincere insight into the lives of non-binary and trans* people, has received a special mention from the jury of the Czech-Slovak competition at Academia Film Olomouc. The personal and political theme of gender identity is illustrated through footage of intimate family moments while frying schnitzels, the traditional Jízda králů, as well as conversations about coming out by the fire and binding strips.
