Czech-French writer and FAMU graduate Milan Kundera has died aged 94

Czech-French writer Milan Kundera has died aged 94. Novelist, playwright, poet, and essayist, became the most important Czech writer in the second half of the 20th century, Kundera is one of the most translated authors in the world. He was also our graduate and former teacher - he studied dramaturgy at FAMU between 1948 and 1953, and until 1970 he lectured at FAMU on world literature. Among his most famous books are The Joke, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and Immortality.
