PITCH_IT – OPEN CALL

We are making an open call for the new edition of the International Pitching Training and Producers’ Workshop organised by the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and Goethe-Institut.  

The workshop serves as an international platform for aspiring and active film directors, scriptwriters and producers. The upcoming edition will focus on applicants from Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovakia. Each of the above countries will be represented in the project. Pairs or individuals representing eight selected projects (two participants per project maximum) in the fields of documentary, feature, and experimental film (60 minutes minimum) will get an opportunity to develop their skills and pitches during intensive classes. At the end of the workshop, the participants will present their projects to the organisers of international film festivals and film sponsors at the Pitching Event to be held at Goethe-Institut Berlin on 15 February 2024 during the Berlinale 2024 IFF. This will be followed by one-on-one meetings with the representatives of the film industry, during which the participants will have an opportunity to establish contact with producers and distributors and build their careers in the film industry.
